♥ Why do people sing "sa mundo" instead of "ng mundo" during "Kordero ng Diyos"? I remember "ng mundo" was nailed into our heads during high school (oh, Catholic schools), but I wonder why the deviation came about in the first place. Yes, I contemplate this every time we sing it during mass.

♥ I've been pondering my taste in anime men. Like, when there's a choice between the sweetheart and the badboy, I tend to pick the former (for example, Yuki, Tadase and Mytho instead of Kyou, Ikuto and Fakir). Don't get me wrong, I adore the latter - I just tend to root for the former more. I have yet to determine what this implies.

♥ Okay, so, yesterday, we picked Daddy up from the airport. Note to self: never come along on an airport trip when it's reaaaally close to Christmas and it's daytime. We were stuck in traffic for almost six hours in all. The sheer amount of people was bad enough, but add a few vehicular accidents and a surprise fire to the mix, and you've got a slow crawl that would drive anyone insane. Seriously.

♥ Pasalubong is always nice. I got a new pair of earphones! I feel a bit bad because this is my third pair of the year. I swear I'll take super good care of these ones. ;_____;

♥ Speaking of gadgets, my father almost bought me a laptop on impulse a couple of days ago. The Fortress was on a clearance sale, and I think if it weren't for the fact that my Dad isn't too versed in what to look for in a potential laptop, I'd have one of the display machines with me right now. The prices were pretty good, too, although I think they were relatively old models. Ah, well. I suppose it's better to pick one out yourself, anyway.

♥ Also, he randomly mentioned that he was about to buy me a DSLR. wat. Expensive camera is expensive. ;__________;

♥ I haven't really been feeling the Christmas spirit. I mean, I know it's around and all, and it's nice to see everyone so cheerful and willing to spend giving, but I haven't really found the spirit to appreciate it. Probably because of Christmas break homework. ._.

♥ Also, sometimes, I want to strangle the children caroling outside. Nothing personal, I just hate their half-hearted singing and persistent, "NAMAMASKO POOOOO".

♥ I finished my main portion for our method of limits: difference threshold paper earlier. I had to do review of related literature, and I really hope I did it right. I mostly focused on the method of limits and how to obtain the just noticeable difference as well as the effects of visual deprivation on tactile perception, but I didn't really do much on how the sense of touch actually works because the journal articles were making my head hurt.

♥ On the other hand, I now know more about the connection between the visual cortex and tactile processing than I ever thought I'd need to know. ._.

♥ Google is a lifesaver. <3

♥ I'll probably feel the Christmas spirit later during Noche Buena. It's not really going to be a big celebration - pretty much nuclear family tonight, so all we really have are fried chicken CHICKEN IN MY HEART, spaghetti, cake, ice cream, and RC Cola (KIM BUM, NO!). And my father's pulutan. That's more than enough, though~ Just thinking of chocolate mousse cake and double dutch ice cream makes me giddy, fufufu. Besides, our relatives are probably going to come over tomorrow and/or on the New Year, so~

♥ "Migikata no Chou" has been on repeat for a couple of days now. How did I not find this song sooner. ;___________; I want to find a nearby Kumyoung place to sing this. Or, like, make my own out of KaraFun. Kumyoung would probably be more fun, though.

♥ Okay, so, there was this retarded motorcycle that roared by around 1 AM last night, going by loud enough to activate the car alarm of one of the cars in front of our house thus proving that sound is in the form of mechanical energy. Problem was that the owner was most likely asleep, so it kept ringing for about twenty minutes. Oddly enough, the sound seemed to progress from a wang-wang noise to a quacking duck to the chirping of cicadas to the sound of someone going "mai mai mai mai mai". IDK maybe I was just really sleepy then.

Now that I think about it, idkr. There are a bunch of television programs I'm really fond of. I guess I'll just give my top three or sth? For comedy, it'll have to be Just Shoot Me. It's so much better than FRIENDS, imo. When the show ended and was replaced by the 10-series hit, I decided to give the latter a try because it was so famous. Maybe it was because I was still in the JSM zone because I did not find FRIENDS amusing enough. It was just pretty much 'meh' for me--although I admit I liked it more and more as I watched. JSM still holds a special place in my heart though, it's just that good. The ending was also v. good, imo. Kinda depressing (because of the plot and the fact that it's ending) but still very, very good. I recommend this show for a good laugh. o/

For overall television program, I guess it's Grey's Anatomy? Idk. I know it's not as good as it was when it started. But the fact that even though I'm not updated, I am still intrigued and have not lost interest in eventually catching up days sth. When I'm not updated, I usually leave it at that because I get too lazy to continue it. I love Derek and Meredith's dynamic relationship. The interactions between each intern-now-resident is also sth to look forward to. Lines like "You're missing the point, I want to be around forty years from now." is just amazing. The way I have fallen in love with Addison's character despite her being the obstacle that came in between my otp is sth I find great. It's not all drama in GA, imo. There are also a number of entertaining scenes and lines like, "Dude, none of you are normal. You're freaking band nerds." ....I could go on but I'm too lazy for that.

Moving onto more recent shows, 10 Things I Hate About You is awesome overall. I have yet to see the movie although it's just collecting dust in my Kino but I really liked it. Thanks for sharing this, Mama-san! I thought the ending was hanging/lacking in some way though. Maybe it's the creator's style or method to intrigue the viewers into watching the second season--WHICH THERE SHOULD BE, BTW. IF A SEQUEL WILL NOT EXIST, HEADS WILL ROLL. Although I love Kat more, I love both Kat and Patrick individually and together. Patrick Verona--even his name is awesome! *O*

Because Filipino soaps are awesome, it deserves its own paragraph! Dahil May Isang Ikaw is really good, imo. I mean, sure. I haven't seen an episode since the week before they HOMGSPOILER! get married and that's what, almost a month away? But I still plan to catch up via online streaming someday. This is the show I liked enough to want to attempt and create subbed versions of. Waifu has offered to lend her video-creating services and psychedelic_aya is automatically in the group whether she likes it or not so yay, this goal is a possibility! o/ I'll probably buy the DVDs when they come out so we have hq raws to work with. This is obvsly better than Tayong Dalawa, imo.

I saw the pilot episode of the remake of Kath and Kim and that got me interested too. Not enough atm, though.

If Tokio Hotel had a movie, it'd probably that.

It's the first of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. The Curse of the Black Pearl is made of so much awesome, I don't think I'll ever get tired of watching it. Whenever I catch it on HBO or sth, I finish it until the end. It's just that epic! Although The Dead Man's Chest comes a close second, it's still just that--second. At World's End is also good--not just as good as the first two. While they get five stars from me, the last one gets only four or sth. I made a post about that before but I'm too lazy to find it and this isn't about At World's End anyway, it's about The Curse of the Black Pearl--which I have somehow deviated from lmao.

And just because I want to share, I will! o/ Next to the first two POTC movies, several other favorites are the Ocean's series, those awesome Korean Movies, The Italian Job, 21, Linda Linda Linda, Mulan, WALL-E, Enchanted, UP, Jay, Stardust, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Patch Adams, The Departed, Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, The Prestige, Hogfather, Matchstick Men and The Interpreter among a lot lmao.

Can't say atm if it's a favorite but I'm also fond of New Moon. YEAH, GO ON AND JUDGE ME.
